The Family Tree

Building a family tree with Lego bricks and Playmobil figures in my grade 2 class. 

This is a perfect chance for introducing the Saxon genitive in an inductive way through the following questions. 

- Who is your grandfather 1?

- He is my father's father. 

- Who is your grandmother 1?

- She is my father's mother.

- Who is your brother?

- He is my father's son. 

- Who is your sister?

- She is my father's daughter. 

- Who is your uncle?

- He is my father's brother. 

- Who is your aunt?

She is my father's sister.

- Who are your cousins?

- They are my uncle and aunt's children.
