Year 4, 5 and 6 have been investigating Galileo's theories. They took a feather, a paper clip, a piece of A4 flat paper and A4 crumpled paper.They carried out a fair test, dropping the objects from a fixed height and timing how long it took them to fall to the ground. The children discovered that the paper clip and the crumpled paper were the fastest. The feather and the flat paper were the slowest because of air resistance.
